Description
This is the original, amazingly rare 1965 UK FIRST pressing of the classic Northern Soul 7" single All For You (side 2 is Too Many Fish In The Sea) by EARL VAN DYKES AND THE SOUL BROTHERS
This record is on the UK Tamla Motown record label, number TMG 506 and comes complete with the original Tamla Motown sleeve

Stampers : Side 1 : "KT" at 4 o'clock and "G" at 10 o'clock respectively, and Side 2 : "KT" at 9 o'clock and "G" at 3 o'clock respectively
This is NOT the later more common Tamla Motown release - this is the much, much rarer very 1st pressing of "All For You" with the original "Too Many Fish In The Sea" B-side!!
The condition of the vinyl is Very Good: much of the original sheen has been retained but there are many surface hairlines, and a couple of very superficial surface scuffs also, on each of side 1 and side 2. There are no deep rooted scratches or nasty looking blemishes, however. The quality of the audio is Good-Very Good. There is a little deterioration in sound quality with some minor sound distortion on side 2. Both tracks, however, (and especially side 1) still make for a great listening experience, with no "pops", "clicks", jumps or skips. There is barely any crackle on side 1 but there is a little background crackle, more evident in some places than others, on side 2. The record labels are Good+, being completely intact and all print is perfectly legible, but there are some blemishes in the form of some mild red felt tip on side 1 (possibly removable with due care and attention and the corrct type of cleaner), and some very mild surface residue where a sticker may have been on side 2, along with a couple of mild nicks. The photos give a fair representation. The original Tamla Motown label orange and white sleeve is in Very Good+ condition and certainly fully functional.
This is a true piece of rare 1960's Northern Soul history that will only increase in value!

Excellent Description: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good Description: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.Fair
Description: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
