You are bidding on a RARE monster fuzz psych album - Earthen Vessel - Hard Rock/Everlasting Life. This is an ORIGINAL pressing from 1970 on NRS Records. Catalog # is 2587-SLP. This is from my own personal collection. This is an amazing album. It's a privately pressed legendary psych album with fuzz guitars and some killer vocals. I've never been able to find the exact number pressed but it's rumored to be fewer than 100.
The jacket and vinyl are both VG+. The jacket is in incredible condition and has only minor ring wear. There are no seam splits anyqhere on the jacket. There is a bit of a scuff on the lower right front on the jacket (see pictures), and the name "Gary Glabe" is written in black ink on the top back cover, but other than that, there are no issues with it at all. The vinyl is also in great condition. It still has a nice sheen to it and has some minor scuffs and marks. There are no deep scratches at all. The record plays through beautifully with no skips on either side. There is a bit of noise that can be heard between tracks, but once the songs start playing and the fuzz guitar starts wailing, the noise instantly disappears.
I do my best to visually grade everything myself and play test each record I sell. In this case, this record comes from my own collection and has been a favorite of mine for a long time. It's simply time to part with it, so rest assured that this is not being sold due to condition issues. Grading is ultimately a very subjective subject, so I have detailed how I grade each record below. If you have any questions or would like to see a picture of something, let me know and I am more than happy to oblige.
Due to the rarity and high price of this item, I will offer tracking and insurance on the shipping at no additional cost to the buyer. If you have questions on cost to ship, please let me know and I will respond with a quote as quickly as possible.
Thank you for looking and I hope I have provided enough information. If you have questions or would like more information on an item, please do not hesitate to send me a message. I am happy to answer any questions you have quickly. Please look below for a more detailed description of my grading policies and return policies. Thanks and happy bidding!
Grading
I try to grade accurately and conservatively. I have listed my grading below, but if you have any questions you feel I haven't answered below, please ask and I will respond quickly. I will also provide as many photos as possible, but if you would like a specific photo of an item sent, let me know and I will be happy to provide one.
NM - I NEVER grade an item NM. I don't believe any used item would ever meet the NM standard and do not grade any records I have listed as such.
VG+ - Cover has minor ring wear with little seam issues. Writing will only occur minimally (previous owner's name, etc.). Vinyl will have minimal surface noise when played with absolutely no skipping. Vinyl will have no large scratches and be limited to normal play wear. No deep scratches on vinyl.
VG/VG- - Cover might have more noticable ring wear and seam issues. Writing will only occur minimally (previous owner's name, etc.) Vinyl will have minimal surface noise when played with absolutely no skipping. Vinyl will have no large scratches but will not have the gloss of a VG+ record. No deep scratches and no large skuff marks on vinyl.
G+ - Cover won't be terrible, but might have significant ring wear and seam issues. More writing may be visible (radio station call letters, etc.). Vinyl may have more noticable surface noise with an occasional skip (I will always list skips). Vinyl will appear well used and played with more noticable scratches and surface marks.
G/G- - Cover will have seen better days with large seam splits and significant ring wear. Writing may be significant. Vinyl will have noticable surface noise and skips (I will always list skips). Vinyl will appear well used and played with more noticable scratches and surface marks. Scratches may be deep (I will list these, as well).
P - I will only sell the rarest records in this condition, otherwise they are donated to a Goodwill or thrown away. If I have a Poor record for sale, I will list as such and discuss any issues in the item description.
Returns
I will accept returns on a case by case basis only. Items are listed as accurately as possible and sold in as is condition. However, I understand that things can and do occasionally happen during shipping that affects the condition of an item. If you receive an item and feel it was not received as described or was damaged during shipping, contact me and I will review the item and offer a return if I feel it is appropriate. Buyer will pay return shipping and must return the item within 14 days for a full refund. Again, this is a case by case basis only. Message me with any questions and I will be happy to answer them quickly.
