Description

An original 1st press on Liberty from 1962. Matrix 1N/1N. Please note labels do NOT mention 'recording 1st published' - as you will find on all the reissues. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by E J Day. We also have the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% copy.
Vinyl (Ex) In excellent condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Highly addictive - some great original audio on this pressing. Nice and clean into the quieter moments. It's from 1962 - that's highly impressive.  A few isolated crackles in one brief moment per side. Otherwise a superb rendition.
Cover (Ex-) In excellent order with a nice clean and uncreased front. The rear has avoided much of the ageing process just a couple of foxing spots in the odd spot. Fairly limited edge wear and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity in part thanks to the heavy card employed in manufacture.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. Bag present. No splits.
