Original UK pressing on TORPEDO label (TOR53), from 1975. Speaker destroying UK black psych with raw one-note bassline funk / pounding psychedelic arrangement masterminded by Brixton based reggae / rocksteady / obscure freakbeat / funk producer and artist, Eddy Grant. A superb DJ spin (just choose your side) that fits somewhere in between his 32nd Turnoff / Zapatta Schmidt / Zubaba and Sundae Times projects. Definitely the hottest and funkiest 45 from the cult Torpedo label. This single actually features superior versions with even heavier drums and basslines than the version on his $400 original UK Torpedo Lp. Huge beats / evil clavinet hook / afro horns and aggressive dub groove that completely destroys the later sounding / weaker edit by his Coachhouse Rhythm Section production for Ice.
