This rare 1919 race record features the hit "Coon Possum Hunt" and "Preacher and the Bear (Arzonia)"  by Billy Golden & Billy Heins , w/ Arthur Collins

Edison Diamond Disc # 50520 80 RPM single in 10" format and comes with its original paper sleeve. In good condition.Original price $1.15 (almost $21 today)

"The Preacher and the Bear" is an American popular song, originally a "coon song". The lyrics recount the story of a church pastor who appeals to God after being treed by a grizzly bear while out hunting on the Sabbath. He falls out of the tree and has to fight the bear
