Description
Up for your consideration is this electrically recorded Edison diamond disc that was released in late 1929 just before the Edison company closed its doors for good.
Both sides feature the amazing B. A. Rolfe and his orchestra. The side R song is "Little Pal" (take C) and side L is "Why Can't You?" (take C). The side A label is pristine, and the side B label has minor damage at the seven o'clock area. I would rate both record sides at a solid "E" as to overall condition. Although it's hard to see, the R side has a 1/4-inch scuff about midway through the song that produces a few seconds of light ticks that do not detract from the enjoyability of this recording. Overall a real nice copy.
