I HAVE THE MACHINE AND ABOUT 100 records - belonged to my in-law’s in-laws ( husbands grandparents - Detroit Michigan) married 1900. I actually played this record, I heard Thomas Edison’s voice on this one. I can not tell a lie - It’s not the cleanest sound but certainly audible. It’s not pristine but it’s rare and hard to come by. I wanted to play again and record so the buyer could hear what I heard but now I can’t get the machine to work again?!? The record is is ok condition, no chips, maybe some wavey marks on one portion - to lower right side of front label - check photos. I may also sell the machine along with about 100 records - check the photos I included - contact me if you’re interested.
