Description

Sid Wayne wrote at least one song for nearly every Elvis Presley film.  Sherman Edwards is best known for Elvis' "Flaming Star" with Sid Wayne, "Johnny Got Angry," and "See You in September" as well as and the Tony-winning musical 1776.  Together, they wrote Shivers, the demo of which is on this acetate.  As far as I can tell, it was never recorded commercially, but it was clearly demoed with Elvis in mind, and has a cool early rock 'n' roll or rockabilly style.  Acetate is in nice VG+ shape, has typical storage marks but plays through loud an clear with only a few tics (and it would benefit from a professional cleaning).
