Electras-Dirty Ol' Man/Courage To Cry (Scotty SR-6621. A-side is strong VG. However the B-side has lots of marks which don't seem to be deep scratches (not sure what they are?) but it visually looks pretty bad. The side does play through fine but is noisy. Collectors should note that this is the SUPER RARE label variation and according to producer Warren Kendrick, there are only 500 of these white label singles pressed (note: the standard Scotty issue was yellow with green type). Musically, the A-side is ABSOLUTE 4-STAR GARGE PUNK and about as good as the genre gets. The flip is no match musically (a haunting femme ballad which actually is pretty cool for what it is). Low minimum bid reflects condition and the single would fetch considerably more if it weren't for the defect on the B-side. Regardless it is a way cool record and the A-side does blast and can be heard off of Litter Rare Tracks, Mayhem & Psychosis #1, The Scotty Story CD, and Best Of The Electras/Scotsmen/Victors LP.
