Description

This offering was recently listed and sold. The winning bidder made a mistake on his bid, an honest error, but while the bid retraction totally absolved the bidder, it left me, the seller, to pick up the pieces. I had no choice but to make an entirely new listing:
Louis Armstrong & His Hot Five play his historic rendition of "West End Blues" on 
Electric Okeh 41078.

On the reverse side they do a red hot number entitled "Fireworks."

Recorded in Chicago on June 27-28, 1928, this 78rpm record is in excelllent to
excellent-plus (E to E+) condition, however the A side has some long curving lams
that lightly sound at the very start of play.
