Ella Fitzgerald Sings the George & Ira Gershwin Songbooks with music conducted & arranged by Nelson Riddle
This complete deluxe set includes 5 LPs  and one 10 inch bonus EP of the music of George and Ira Gershwin.  Also included are 5 Bernard Buffet lithographs, drawn especially for these albums and suitable for framing.  Completing the package is a lavish 12 x 9.5 hardcover book, "The Gershwins -- Words Upon Music," by Lawrence D. Stewart, that contains, in addition to a brief biography of the Gershwins & commentary on all 59 of the classic tunes, numerous contemporaneous photos & drawings.
Limited edition reissue from Speakers Corner.  180 - 200 gram virgin vinyl (actually 194 gram on my food scale).  Each LP is individually packaged in a sturdy cardboard outer sleeve & a non-scratching, anti-static Diskeeper inner sleeve.
Disks are in near mint condition having only been played once or twice; box is in excellent condition with no damage except for slight discoloration.
