Description
Here we have lovely Elsie Carlisle on 10 x 78rpm discs (twenty sides/songs) in a book-type-album, with an ORIGINAL 1939 picture leaflet celebrating Elsie’s arrival at the Rex record label.
The book/album is clean, and there is no tearing or staining. There are a few marks on the cover (it’s even older than me, for goodness sakes) which don’t matter a fiddle or a fig.
The book is covered with what I hope is fake alligator skin (I’m a vegetarian) and has a list of the records that USED to be in it, lightly written on the “contents” page, easily removable.
The Elsie Carlisle records are in varying states of preservation. They ALL PLAY very well, and are very collectable. They are NOT mint un-played museum-quality examples for you to put in a cupboard and never listen to.
These are excellent-sounding originals that are meant to be played and enjoyed.
They DO NOT HAVE RED MARKS! The red on the photos is the reflection of a red shirt I was wearing!
The “Rex” records leaflet is original, from 1939, and lists numerous contemporary artists as well as Elsie, including George Formby.

If I think you’ve got a lucky face, I may well put a couple more discs in the parcel.

I am just an old bloke thinning out his lifetime collection of STUFF before the floor collapses.
I'm selling most of this stuff for much less than I paid for it.
