Description
Rare original US original RCA Victor Black grooved Dog label pressing of the iconic Elvis Presley Soundtrack album "Fun In Acapulco" (1962). Catalogue number LSP 2756 with original first press matrices. Pressed on heavy vinyl with Silver and Black text with coloured RCA Victor "dog" Living Stereo logo. Also RCA original Elvis Presley inner and laminated US paste over cover - all denotes first press.
Mono versions common but this stereo version is rare. Stereo albums were new at the time and equipment very costly. Mostly reserved for classical stereo enthusiasts and few pop/rock n roll albums were issued this way and often had to be ordered specially.
Cover is laminated and close to EX with some minor discolouration and wear to edges and creasing as shown. Inner is original with some splits but ok and VG+. Vinyl is EX some evidence of play and handling but no noticeable scuffs as shown. Causes some initial surface noise but otherwise plays really well.
