Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL DEMO / PROMO copy of the 1964 single Ain't That Loving You Baby / Ask Me released in the USA.

The record itself (47-8440 ) is in VERY GOOD+ condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.

There are some light visible marks/scratches (nothing too deep though)

The labels have some scuff marks / ringwear but NO WRITING!(see photos) They are clearly marked with the words " NOT FOR SALE" (see photos)

As well as the picture sleeve the record is housed in a generic RCA Victor sleeve.

The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $35 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VERY GOOD+ for the sleeve alone.

This RARE sleeve has NO SPLITS or WRITING! (see photos)

The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear / scuff marks and a few small tears on the top opener (see photos).

The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to help try and prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!

THIS IS THE 1st ISSUED AND RARE SLEEVE ADVERTIZING "COMING SOON " ROUSTABOUT LP (rather than the later alternative sleeve stating "ASK FOR")

This one does not come up for auction that often!!!!!!!

Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70(£52 approx.) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £32.

I will start this at under HALF OF THAT!!!
