An original 1st press of 'BEST OF' from Oct-1957 on UK HMV label. Matrix 1N/1N. Stampers 1P/1H - placing it amongst the 1st few thousand copies ever pressed. Tax Code = "RT" which is correct for 1957. We will ship in an original Emitex.
THIS IS A TEN INCH RECORD!!
Vinyl (Vg/Vg-) We are grading strictly at VG. There are several marks each side - one or two are feelable. So, yes you'll get a couple of ticks in the odd spot. The only mark which causes a few clicks is toward the end of 'Blue Moon'. Expect a bit of presence and a few crackles here and there in most tracks. Clearly it is not a clean player - so anyone remotely fussy will not get on with this copy. BUT if you're prepared to accept said faults the vinyl plays pretty well for large parts [a shade above VG]. But be realistic about the condition and remember this is an Elvis original copy from '57. In fact, it's one of the first ever pressed.
