GRADING THIS RECORD:

Jacket/cover visual assessment: The jacket is flat with reasonably squared corners and retains most of the luster on the front cover. There is some wear on the covers.

Record visual grade: VG++. The labels are excellent with little sign of handling or wear.

For those eBayers who are unfamiliar with my name, I am the author of the original line of Goldmine price guides for record collectors, which were published way back in the 20th century. I have also been selling collectable records in the mail for more than thirty years, starting in Goldmine magazine where I advertised as Pet Sounds Records.

In the late 1980s, I teamed up with Goldmine magazine and created a series of price guides for record collectors. These books made vast, fundamental changes in several aspects of the hobby—notably the values assigned both common and rare records, and in how those records were graded. My three titles were Goldmine's Price Guide To Collectible Record Albums, Goldmine's Price Guide To Collectible Jazz Albums, and Goldmine's Rock 'n Roll 45RPM Price Guide.

MY BLOGS:

Right now I am writing and running several blogs—as none of them are commercial sites, none of them compete in any way with eBay.
