Thanks for coming to my auctions. I have collected for many years and have many great records to sell. I guarantee my ratings. Ebay's DSR ratings are very confusing and many of my friends are no longer on here because they were snuffed out accidentally from nice people leaving bad ratings. Anything less than a 5 is harmful and will get your favorite seller removed! no reserve auctions:

AUDIO OF THE ALTERNATE VERSION OF OLD SHEP FROM THIS LP AT THE BOTTOM, NO FILTRATION, FOLDED MONO. The alternate take in this true first run/first print, was never issued again until 1992!! Great looking original 50s pressing. This is the first press of this classic LP, with ELVIS inner (from a later Elvis LP, I believe, as this would have had a grey RCA inner originally). The center groove is offset, which was only done in the 50s, the center of the label and inner are seen in the second pic. The matrices match the first pressing run, and the ALTERNATE VERSION OF OLD SHEP makes it one out of only two thousand of the first run! The first presses are also the only ones that didn't feature ads for other Lp's on the rear cover. The vinyl looks VG++ with some fine paper scuff that only shows under bright light. There is one stylus scratch along tracks three and four on side one that may sound, but likely not over the program in this tight, punchy, deep groove mono original.  the cover has some mild seam wear, perforations near the opening and spine on the top seam, but all in all they are clean and hanging in there. two small stains along the spine in the front (pictured, but not very noticeable). The fidelity on this original is pretty amazing considering the age, and I hear no noticeable groove wear in the samples I've heard. Even the few ticks that are audible in the very quiet Old Shep are most likely from the LP printing process than actual wear. Remember that LP's were still rather new at this time and often plates were used for longer runs, and pressing anomalies were more frequent. That's why this LP is an amazing artifact.
