Description
The classic rock 45 from 1955 has endured the nearly 60 years of handling and playing and yet still retains a '50's charm as if hearing it for the first time in a record shop. Yeah, it has plenty of wispy hairlines but they appear light and superficial - don't feel any feelers - and even the small "dimple" (spotted when held at a certain angle in light) doesn't appear to effect the playing. There is the common "Sun label hiss" from beck then and perhaps some crackling similar to the sound of a gentle fire while roasting marshmallows, but noe of this distracts too much from the ascending rhythms of Elvis' magical flow, in fact, it may even add subtle charm, but the Mystery Train side appears a slightly sharper sound. The labels are well preserved (especially compared to similar copies I see) - there are some light marks like near the "U" in the SUN of the label and thru the "G" on "forgot", a small light stain above forget, and maybe some dirt from age:, with the Msytery Train side the best looking, sporting the manufacturer brown "specks" to the left and rt of the SUN logo and to the left and rt of the lower memphis tennessee label. Whatever other wear exists it is minor and the generous amount of pics with zoom show more than I could say.
The matrix shows that the "20" number is approx. 1/4" from the matrix # 45-u-156x and likewise on the other side with the matrix # 45-u-157x. See pic #5 for matrix details. Thje paper sleeve comes with record (don't know if it was issued by sun or not but it has been in it for decades.

I also package LP in cardboard Media Mailer and I ship ASAP, provided my cherished customer pays asap. Beware of sellers that post 1 or 2 photos only. This is a red flag and suggests 2 things: #1) the seller is trying to hide the real condition of the item by limiting photographic details. They also will further camouflage their item’s condition by not offering zoom features. #2) Many sellers limit their photos because they are not only trying to camouflage their item’s condition, but because they are Lazy. A lazy seller won’t go the extra mile in other aspects of his sale, exhibited in shoddy packaging and they will drag their feet in shipping item out. Just as deceitful and lazy are the many sellers that provide only STOCK photos (not of actual item you will receive) tricking the bidder in thinking they are getting the impressive item pictured in the stock photo.
