Pot Luck (often referred to as Pot Luck with Elvis) is the fifteenth studio album by Elvis Presley, released by RCA Victor on June 15, 1962. The album's material was primarily recorded during a prolific overnight session on March 18–19, 1962, at the legendary RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee.
Unlike most of Elvis's early-1960s output, which was heavily dominated by Hollywood movie soundtracks, Pot Luck stands out as a dedicated non-soundtrack studio album. It highlights his stylistic versatility, seamlessly blending rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and polished pop ballads. The album was a commercial success, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard Top LPs chart. Notable tracks include "Kiss Me Quick", "Suspicion" (which later became a massive hit for Terry Stafford), and "That's Someone You Never Forget"—a deeply personal track co-written by Elvis himself in collaboration with his friend Red West, dedicated to the memory of Elvis's mother, Gladys.
