Super Rare Misspress Elvis Presley---"Rock'n'Roll" No. 1 Original 1st Press UK Copy On HMV CLP 1093

This is a UK 1st press album in mono from 1956 on the burgundy/gold HMV label with a cat. no. CLP 1093 and matrices 1N & 1N 1st pressing.

What makes this already desirable record highly collectable is it is a misspress. The side 1 label is as you would expect. Turn the record over and instead of a side 2 label it has another side 1 label. In my many years of collecting Elvis vinyl I have never seen this on a HMV release!!!

Back in 1956 not many people bought long play albums and Elvis' HMV stuff is worth a small fortune. This example is unique and if you were to marry it up with a near mint cover you would probably have one of the highest value UK Elvis records.

Vinyl:  In reasonable condition with some scuff marks and light scratches.

Labels: In good condition with some spindle wear but no hand writing.

Sleeve: Not the best I've seen but is intact. 

Due to the overall condition I have started this with a low start price and no reserve price.
