Description

This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1965 Gold Standard Series single Santa Claus Is Back In Town / Blue Christmas  released in the USA.

The record itself (447-0647 Dog On Side ) is ONLY in VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD- condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.

There are numerous visible marks/scratches but nothing too deep or that can be felt.

The labels have some scuff marks/ringwear but and have NO WRITING!

This has the added bonus of being a 1st pressing as indicated by the 1s in the trail off.

The picture sleeve is much sought after and is in EXCELLENT-  condition.

This sleeve is 52 years old and is in nice condition for the age.(see photos)

This hard to find sleeve has NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!

The only things that stop this from grading higher is ringwear/creases/scuff marks(see photos)

THIS REALLY IS QUITE A RARITY and A HARD ONE TO FIND!!

Overall 2 years ago this was still valued at $60+(£48) , so i guess it must now be at least £50

 I will start this at under A HALF OF THAT!!!!!

With a LOW START and NO RESERVE, you will get a GREAT bargain.
