Ok, here is an original Elvis Presley Sun Records 45. It has all the hallmarks of an original pressing. It has the push marks. The matrix number on Good Rockin' Tonight side is U-131-45 7 with the 7 just about a half inch away from 45. On the "I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine" side the matrix number is U-130-7- 72 with 72 being about a half inch after the dash. What makes it even rarer is that it's one of the very earliest one pressed in Memphis. This can be verified by the misspelling of the writers' name for "Good Rockin' Tonight". The Writers name is Roy Brown. On the early pressings it was mistakenly printed as "RAY" Brown.
Now the bad points. Vinyl itself is very scratched up. Not anything deep but lots of light scratches. And the worst thing is that the record is cracked. There is a crack about 1/4 of an inch. It is very hard to see if you don't know it's there and when played it just sounds like the rest of the record, which is hissing and pops but no skips.
Ok, there's the good and bad of it. It's not perfect but it is an extremely rare record. Thanks for looking and I hope you're interested in buying.
