Description
Guaranteed original 1955 pressing Elvis Presley 78 on Sun label # 217.This 78 was released in April of 1955.Songs titled Baby Let's Play House on one side with the song I'm Left,You're Right,She's Gone on the other side.First off when this 78 was pressed they made an error as they reversed the labels on each side.So the Baby Let's Play House label side actually has the I'm Left,You're Right,She's Gone song and same with the other side as just the labels have been reversed.The side with the Baby Let's Play House label which is actually the song I'm Left.You're Right.She's Gone has multiple light scratches with 12 scratches that are feelable with fingernail.Also has multiple scuffs and also groove wear.Some of the scuffs may not show up in picture as is always the case.I gave the record a play test and this side plays very well.I only heard a couple of ticks and no pops.Plays with a light background hiss when treble is adjusted at about 4.Song plays very loud and clear and really sounds great.The other side with the I'm Left,You're Right,She's Gone label but plays the song Baby Let's Play House has light scratches and also has 12 scratches that are feelable with fingernail.One of the feelable scratches is a 1 and 1/2 inch scratch that is deeper than the rest but it only causes 3 to 4 light ticks only.This side also has some scuffing and groove wear and also a small light white discoloration area on grooves near beginning of song.Not sure exactly what it is but it certainly doesn't affect play at all.This side also plays well with a light to medium background hiss towards beginning of record with the treble adjusted at about 4.When treble is turned down low it plays with a light background hiss.Halfway through song it even starts to play a little quieter.Record is nice and flat with no warp at all on either side.Should really be pleased with the record as both sides sound Great.
