ELVIS PRESLEY - “TODAY” (APD1-1039), A FIRST PRESSING FROM 1975 IN QUADRAPHONIC. COVER STILL IN SHRINK WITH HYPE STICKER! RECORD: VG- with many light surface scuffs & scratches, none of which can be felt with the fingertip. However, there are numerous "ticks" upon play. I played this "Quadradisc" album in its entirety and although there is strong vocals and instrumentation, audible disturbance is noted in many areas, including a skip on "Shake A Hand". Even with these negatives mentioned, this is quite a scarce record and books for $90 (just for the record) in Near Mint, according to Jerry Osborne's "Presleyana VIII" (2017). The Orange "Quadradisc" labels are beautiful, NM! This album was released in May of 1975 and includes the hit singles "T-R-O-U-B-L-E" and "Bringing It Back / Pieces Of My Life". COVER: VG++ (EXC) with approximately 95% of the original shrink wrap still present! However, there is a tear near the top on the front that extends to the shrink sticker, hyping the hit single "T-R-O-U-B-L-E". Due to this tear, a portion of the front of the cover had been exposed, leaving it prey to some light ring wear. Some minor wear to the upper and lower corner tips is also observed at the open end. An attractive cover that carries a Near Mint value of $95 in "Presleyana VIII" (Jerry Osborne - 2017)! INNER SLEEVE: The original "ELVIS' Great LP Catalog" (54C) sleeve from the era.
