Description
This is an auction for an Original copy of the HARD TO FIND 1956 Double EP Elvis Presley released in the USA.
The records themselves (EPB 1254 dog on top) are in VERY GOOD+ condition with some visible marks/scratches.(nothing too deep though)
The centre labels have NO WRITING (see photos)
This is also the RARE issue WITHOUT SILVER LINE!
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve with adverts on the backside is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $175 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is in VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 62 years old and has a few flaws.
There is NO WRITING (see photos)
The only things that stop this from grading higher is some ringwear / scuff marks seam splits along the top and bottom ( almost a complete seam split on the top and bottom of the front half left side of the gatefold sleeve and partially split on the right hand side , a couple of staple marks and slight damage on the top right corner on the rear on the With Love From A Chorus photo(see photos)
The records are also stored in a separate paper sleeves and in a poly sleeve to help try and prevent anymore wear to this RARE sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $215(£175 approx.)
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £185.
THIS REALLY IS A QUITE HARD TO FIND TO SLEEVE!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!
