Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1957 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Loving You (vol 2) released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA 2 - 1515 dog on top)is in VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD condition with a few marks/scratches and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.
This would grade higher but there are a few scratches which can be felt.(hence the lower start)
THIS IS THE RARER ISSUE WITH HORIZONTAL LINE!
The centre labels are CRISP, CLEAN and have NO WRITING (see photos).
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $45 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is EXCELLENT-/ VERY GOOD+)for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 53 years old and is in nice condition for the age.
There are NO RIPS,TEARS or WRITING (see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is the start of seam split at the side of the sleeve.
There is also the ORIGINAL shop price sticker on the rear.(see photos)
This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £80+ copy comes along.
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $80(£52 approx) .
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £55.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
