The one release (to date) was handled by Daymare in Japan and Drag City elsewhere. The vinyl edition was through Drag City and came as either black, clear or blue vinyl.
This test press has the Drag City catalogue number (DC544) and date the test press copies were made (October 24 2012) on the records and white label sleeves. The date is a good six months before the album's official release. This gives you some sense of the timeframe (once the tests were approved) that it took from manufacture to being on sale in stores. The Drag City record label is based in Chicago and the records were manufactured at RTI (Record Technology Incorporated) in California.
Also of interest is the inscriptions in the running grooves of each side. Little cryptic messages most likely attached to the songs on those particular sides of vinyl. They are...
