We are pleased to present one of the most exquisite live jazz recordings ever pressed on wax in it's very first edition from 1961, in stunning visual condition and audio quality. Eric Dolphy At The Five Spot is an amazing live date featuring a Quintet of masters: Dolphy on Alto sax and bass Clarinet, Booker Little on trumpet, Mal Waldron on Piano, Ed Blackwell on drums, and Richard Davis on bass. This album is considered a grail among early jazz vinyl collectors and one of the greatest live jazz albums of all time. The Vinyl condition is just a touch under an Excellent due to a couple shallow scuffs on side one that do not affect play and a slight storage warp that creates the smallest warble but also not affecting play. The cover is at the very top end of VG+ or maybe even Excellent with very little wear. We have included a piece of German ephemera that may give clues to this album's original owner. Also included is the original Prestige inner sleeve. You will be happy to own this amazing piece of jazz history, as this has to be one of the top copies in existence.
