Description

This is New Jazz Records NJLP 8260, Eric Dolphy Live At The Five Spot Volume 1, a purple label, original mono copy of this great record with RVG stamped in the dead wax. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. There is a small pressing defect at the beginning of side 1 which does not effect the play in any way. The cover has a split spine and shows ring wear. The labels are excellent and show only light spindle marks. This copy was owned by a famous jazz writer and is part of a small group of original issues I will be listing. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. If you can overlook the issues with the cover, this is an excellent collector's grade copy of this wonderful original mono issue.
