Description
This is Limelight Records LS-86013, Eric Dolphy, Last Date, a green label, deep groove, stereo, promotional, original US issue of this classic session from 1964 featuring Misha Mengelberg and Han Bennink. The record is in VG++ condition showing two light paper sleeve marks on side 1. This is all that keeps it from being near mint. On side 1 track 1 and side 2 track 2 there is occasional, light, intermittent crackle audible during the bass solos, otherwise the record plays quietly throughout. The deep groove labels are perfect. The textured, original gate-fold cover with it's attached booklet, and original inner sleeve, is also near mint, but has a Promotional Copy stamp on the back. This is a wonderful copy of a beautiful collectible issue offered with no reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
