Eric Dolphy "Out To Lunch!" 1973 Blue Note BST 84163 reissue, Van Gelder stamp. A wonderful copy of this incredibly influential, highly sought after, avant garde jazz album, also featuring trumpet great Freddie Hubbard and others. Discogs lists 89 versions of this cutting edge masterpiece, released and re-released all over the globe. This one is the 1973 reissue with the "VAN GELDER" and "STEREO" stamps in the runout space. To confirm the version, compare the photos of this label with the Discogs listing. Sleeve is in solid shape, with minor ring scuff on both sides (study photos), Very Good plus (VG+). Vinyl is the best part. Visually has the very lightest scuff in a few places, one very light scratch, but overall still shiny and new-looking. Playback is incredibly quiet and present. I heard only one small click while doing my hi-res recording, just a great sound. Only the tiny visual blemishes kept it from getting a perfect rating, but I'll confidently score it as Excellent minus (EX-). Just cleaned with a VPI wet-vac system. I'll pay the shipping via USPS Media Mail.
