Description
I will give a grade for the record itself and the cover seperately
This record is great shape with few scuffs just very light scuffs nothing that can be felt or affect the play, no scratches ,perfect fresh grooves , amazing gloss exellent condition (VG+) - (NM)
the cover is great shape there is only very minor wear except there is a four inch split in on the top seam which could be easily repaired it meets up no paper missing , all issues are shown in the pics .(VG+)
Near Mint (NM or M -)
NM Records are shiny, with no visible defects.
Writing, stickers, or other markings cannot appear
on label, nor can any “spindle marks”, no surface noise.
NM Covers have no creases, no ring wear, or seam splits of any kind.
Very Good Plus (VG+) or Excellent (E)
VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole.
VG+ covers should have only minor wear.
A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than 1 inch long) at the bottom. May have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking.
VG- I only use this for sleeves that may be worse off than the vinyl or a record that may have more scuffs than it should but still is not scratched, has no groove wear and gloss is still shiny.
I do not list records below these grades unless it something really special , if you are unhappy with your record I will except returns granted it is returned in the same condition it was shipped , thank you
On Aug-14-12 at 15:25:22 PDT, seller added the following information:I have noticed most people use the VG- for a rating below very good , that it not the case on all records I have listed , I use the VG- rating as a higer grade than VG. I justed wanted to clairify this the next auction I will make sure Im in line with the rest of ebay, Thank you.
