Description
Not sure where to position this record as there are very few details available. A very early Ethel Waters disc on the rare Black Swan USA label, ca. 1922, no 2037. Tracks Bugle Blue ('introducing old Mine Blues') and Frisco Jazz Band Blues. Not catalogued with a value anywhere I can find. Described as by the Ethel Waters Jazz Masters/Fox Trot. Released by the Pace Phonographic Corp of New York. Cover is generic. Disc is intact and without major damage, but has many surface scuffs & scratches (none very deep). Run-on matrices imprinted P-160 and P-162, if this helps. Has been in my collection for nearly 50 years. I am positioning start price on this at £100, but this is really only to get any discussion started with potential buyers: I really have no idea of where/if it will sell.
