Last chance - gets donated to local library's annual rummage sale next -In Plain, Unmarked White sleeve: Record itself, aside from track listings, is only marked: ETTA JAMES: FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY: NOT FOR SALE, And “DBX ENCODED DISK”. No manufacturer/date on label. This is, however, obviously a dbx version of a ”regular” elsewhere issued record, as it has both A & B sides, and the tracks/time listings. I can find nothing on-line on this, but, I am assuming that in dbx, it is a pretty rare itemJacket 95% - still covered in original shrink wrap – slit open on side to extract record. No splitting, scuffs, or “imprinting” of the record, but one minor, but visible “corner bump” on upper left corner. Includes record, in aftermarket library/archive paper inner sleeve, and nothing else. dbx Records:
The dbx records are all from collection of late audiophile/engineer friend. I am not an expert record grader, as I got out of vinyl over ten years ago. I have not play-tested any of them; but, all of the records themselves appear mint/played, maybe once. That would fit his motif of recording everything off onto 7.5 i.p.s tape to use/play. See pictures & individual item description above). Anything on the surface of the disks in the pictures is either dust, or tiny paper fragments from the aging envelopes/jackets, not scratches/nicks
