Description

This is a thick heavy rigid deep groove Haitian pressing lp on black and silver ABRAHAM / PALACE label #MG-78632 (on label), PLP-100 (cover). Title is : SATURDAY NIGHT IN PORT-AU-PRINCE, performances are from the authentic DJUMBALA NIGHT CLUB , the liner notes say: Rhythms combining  dance moods with exotic pyrotechnics of voodoo. (see liner notes for more info.) There are 12 wonderful uptempo performances. If you search for the best exotic hard to find jazz lps consider this one, lp is beautiful, labels and playing surfaces are near pristine, both sides have a mirror gloss shine, no scratches, groove wear, defects ,warps, sleeve stains etc. labels are clean and vibrant Cover has great vibrant art on front and notes, photos, song titles etc on back. it has light browning , one bent corner and light wear, no splits, cut outs , stains etc. One of my favorite tunes is : Dual of drums by; TI RORO & JEAN REMY. I listened to an excerpt from each track. They sounded  clean and clear with no distortion or background noise . CONDITION: Cover VG+ / LP NM.
