On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Fairport Convention called "Fairport Convention" and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Polydor label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS FAIRPORT CONVENTION'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH SOME INCREDIBLE DIFFERENCES THAT ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  FIRSTLY THE RECORD IS PRESSED ON VERY THICK VINYL (LATER ONES ARE MUCH THINNER!) AND THE LABELS ARE FULLY 'TEXTURED' (LATER ONES ARE SMOOTH!)!!!!  SECONDLY THE MATRIX NUMBERS END IN A//1 B//1 (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!!  AND LASTLY THE 'POLYDOR' STEREO LOGO ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER (SEE CLOSE UP PICTURE!) HAS NO STEREO WARNING TEXT UNDERNEATH IT!!!!  AND THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT - AS ONLY 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSINGS FROM 1968 CAME LIKE THIS - WITH NO 'STEREO WARNING' TEXT!!!!  ON LATER PRESSINGS FROM 1969 ONWARDS, 'STEREO WARNING TEXT' (IN WHITE LETTERING) WAS ADDED UNDER THE LOGO ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER - SHOWING A LATER PRESSING!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET - AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'FULLY TEXTURED' POLYDOR LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS A//1 B//1 MATRIXES, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FULLY LAMINATED COVER (WITH NO 'STEREO WARNING' TEXT ON THE REVERSE!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Polydor UK 'Earliest' 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is 583 035 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Polydor Label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK STEREO 1st Pressing!!!! 

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear (apart from a VERY small 'touched in' area just above 1 centre hole - which is so VERY minor that you can only just make it out in my picture!), NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairline traces, only 1 absolutely TINY surface trace, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  The record plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press 'E.J.Day' FULLY Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (still FULLY Laminated!), barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour!), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking indeed!), and NO writing!!!!  Not only that but the LAMINATE on this cover (front AND back!) is INCREDIBLY shiny - which is EXTREMELY rare on this LP, as most are heavily dulled and glazed.  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  This cover has very VERY shiny looking laminate indeed - and this is so VERY hard to find on this cover!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the laminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  And even with the few creases mentioned above - this cover is still VERY flat looking, has VERY shiny laminate indeed, and FULLY deserves my grading of Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
