***GREAT PACKAGE!*** - 1) THE FARM BAND - (mantra333; stereo; 1972). Commonly known as the 'Mantra' LP. This RARE 2-LP set was made by Jesus freak / hippie guru Stephen Gaskin and the Tennessee Commune. Great LP - long psych jams!! Cuts: "Om, Loving you, Lord's work, Keep your head up high, Being here with you, Let it ride, Prayer, I believe it". **Vinyl on both LPs is MINT. The fold-open full color cover is MINT. We bought this LP sealed from Stephen and the Band at one of their traveling free concerts in Bellingham, Washington in 1973. ***This package deal comes with: 2) The 22" x 27" full color folded poster which is MINT. 3) *Both original Lyric inner sleeves. 4) *Their Rare 7"- 45 rpm single on the Mantra label: Side A- "Loving you". Side B - "Prayer". The single is Mint. 5) 'The Farm Report' - A 17" x 22" folded poster-like newsletter printed in sepia tones, dated September 1973. With a philosophical statement about the 'Farm', history of and info about the 'Farm', lots of pictures, a 'Financial Report' on the 'Farm' (* $2681 spent to print 500 copies of this LP!!) and quotes from Stephen Gaskin. The newsletter is Mint minus. 6) A copy of "Hey Beatnik! - This Is The Farm Book". Written by Stephen and the farm. ($2.50!). The book is 8" x 11", 104 pages, printed in full color. With chapters written about: the Farm history, Farming, Neighbors, "Tripping" instructions,State of the union, Work, Construction, Foodage (they're vegetarians), Philosophy, 'Om', Healing, The Dope statement (they only believe in natural psychedelics i.e. marijuana, mushrooms, peyote), The Farm band, The radio station, Water, Motor pool (the fleet of buses they traveled around the country in), The school, Householder yogi, Kids, Midwifery, How to do it. With lots of pictures. The book has a slightly worn cover but the color on the pages is bright.
