FIRST FRIDAY - (webster's last word records 2895; stereo; 1969). Great rare private local Illinois bluesy folkrock psych LP. Recorded at Golden Voice Sound Studios in Pekin, Illinois on September 27 and 28, 1969; the Finchley Boys LP was also recorded there. LP was produced by Chuck Perrin. Only 500 copies pressed. Players: Bob Ewan- vocals; Andy Wallace- organ; Jim Stynes- drums; John Pendergrast- bass; Norm Zeller- lead guitar, leslie. Cuts: "Nice day for something, Got no more home than a dog, Night driving, Maryanne, Such a lot to say, Wings to fly, Take them all away, Ballad of john doe jr. ". *Vinyl is MINT.
