FLIED EGG - Dr Siegel s Flied Egg - LP reissue of 1972-Phoenix-progressive Rock-ex Strawberry Path-lim.edit.

1st album by merrily named Jap band (yes, they were aware of the misspelling), w/ members of Strawberry Path & Foodbrain. Reminiscent of a ever-so-slightly-too-late Gong album, with a lot of hard rock riffs, but also lots of cartoonish interjections. Couple of power ballads that seem to've been built on the model of Ozzy's as well, but when they finally decide to get back to blasting, they're darn good at it. Tracklisting: Dr Siegel's Fried Egg Shooting Machine, Rolling Down the Broadway, I Love You, Burning Fever, Plastic Fantasy, 15 Seconds of Schizophrenic Sabbath, I'm Gonna See My Baby Tonight, Oke-Kas, Someday, Guide Me to the Quietness.
