FLYING SAUCER ATTACK self-titled debut album, subtitled: rural psychedelia.
1993 FSA 62. Unique, hand-made first edition of this great LP, limited to 1000 copies, virtually brand new. Never played. I am the original owner and have kept the LP in the heavy PVC sleeve it came in since I bought it in 1993. The vinyl, featuring hand-painted and numbered labels, had never been out of the hand-stamped outer sleeve and plain white inner sleeve before these pictures were taken. The fold-over LP cover, with its beautiful front photo and ominous gatefold image, is near mint. The included booklet is also near mint, had never been opened before these photos. Everything looks new and unhandled, with no shelf wear or ring wear of any kind. There is some relatively slight yellowing of the right edge of the cover and inner sleeves, due to age. There are also a couple little bumps and dings along the top edge. I have tried to capture these small defects in the detail photos.
A really wonderful record, from the heavy My Bloody Valentine and other shoegaze influences to the sublime Krautrock tributes, with an insane feedback-laced version of Suede's The Drowners thrown in. A must for fans of any of these. I really hate to give this one up and have been listening to it nonstop on MOG. Can't believe I let the vinyl sit unplayed all these years. Grab it before I change my mind!
