Rare & collectable 7" vinyl single
Item receives an acceptable rating on the eBay scale with no holes, ink marks or cut-outs. I listened to vinyl once upon acquisition and again as I am writing these words. The crackle in the lead-ins & outs is unmistakable that you are listening to vintage vinyl. However, as the songs kick in, the sound is overall very nice. No skips despite the vinyl being nothing to look at. Not horrible in normal lighting but under a halogen, there are many visible scratches that might make you think it's going to be a rough sound. I hear the most background crackle in the song "This Boy" but still nothing that distracts from enjoyment of the song. The sleeve is heavy weight with a fair amount of edge and handling wear. Unfortunately, it is split on two edges (see pictures).
I am not enough of a Beatles fan to keep this rarity and I'm not about to try to price it to compare with the others on the market in the $100-200+ range. Instead, it is being subject to auction.
