Francisco Diaz was a protest singer/songwritter who recorded this album for the weird "Comuna" (Commune is spanish) label, in fact a budget Nevada sub-label (same label as Teresa Cano , Coto En Pel...). He's accompanied by top studio musicians from Los Pekenikes like Felix Arribas and Juan Jimenez.
The album contains one monster long acid folk track called "Ana" featuring killer sitar (played by avant garde musician Luis Paniagua), floating acid soaked oriental atmosphere, female backing vocals, trippy studio arrangements...this would fit easily on any volume of the famous "Electric Psychedelic Sitar Headswirlers", it's really amazing. Rest ot the album it's in a more protest/folk/prog vein with the last two songs on side B ("Los progres" and "Lucifer") being really odd, featuring somme fuzz guitar, organ, flute and incredible loner/schizo lyrics. On "Lucifer" the guy even enters Simon Finn territory!
The album is housed in a beautiful gatefold sleeve. Seldom seen, grab it while you can. A must for anyone looking for acid guru loner folky weird vibes. This LP has been included on the last Pokora 6001 book.
