BON SCOTT ACDC OZ PROG. 1971

Here on offer is one of Australia’s jewels in the crown of progressive recordings by Adelaide’s Fraternity entitled Flaming Galah. This was Fraternity’s first album and was recorded on the RCA label SL 102038 in 1971 complete with a gatefold cover.
Bon Scott joined Fraternity after being in the popular bubble gum band the Valentines. Fraternity was a much harder edged progressive band with a raunchy rhythm and blues sound – obviously a natural move towards Bon’s future part in ACDC.
You can definitely clearly hear the Bon Scott vocal style on this album. Some of Fraternity’s other members came from the legendary progressive band Levi Smith Clefs.
Condition:
Cover – The gatefold cover shows some minor creasing. An impressive VG.
Vinyl – Some light markings. Has been well played but not abused. A fair amount of crackle and pop but the music still sounded great to me. Definitely no jumps or repeats – G.
