A: FREDDIE McKAY JAH LOVE I (Chune ... this one needs no introduction ... one of the finest from Freddie ... one of the finest in roots reggae music ... a true anthem ... supposedly produced by Warrick Lynn ... comes as original press on the Lucky Star-imprint ... from around 1977/78 ... (PLEASE NOTE: This record has an INSIDE CRACK - i. e. there's a crack starting at the hole's edge (NOT from the outer edge!) - This is a manufacturing fault! - I own this record for about 25 years now and it took me about 15 years to realize that crack - It has NO effect on the playing AT ALL, the wax is tight and it plays fantastique! You can see this crack (which is about 1,5 cm in the wax) in the two pics I have attached, it goes thru the "M" of Made in Jamaica on the A-side and near the logo-bull's nose on the B-side. The soundclip will play start + finish of both sides ... Soundman, Soundgal, you won't be disappointed with this record!) ... don't miss out ... and watch out for my other reggae-items!!!) B: LYNS ALL STARS VERSION (Well crucial rockers version ... as good as the brilliant vocal ... roots dub-wize at its best!) ORIGINAL PRESS (NOT A RE-PRESS) FEATURE: COLOURS OF JAH RAINBOW WAX'N'SOUND: ex- / ex-, both sides show hardly any wear, lightest surface marks only, very very shiny, plays brilliantly ina true roots & culture-styleee w/ big big punch and clear, transparent sound, expect a tiny bit of occasional crackle! (PLEASE NOTE: This Record has an INSIDE CRACK - i. e. there's a crack starting at the hole/label (NOT from the outer edge!) - This is a manufacturing fault! - I own this record for about 25 years now and it took me about 15 years to realize that crack - It has NO effect on the playing AT ALL, the wax is tight and it plays fantastique! LABEL: both sides show light general wear, writings/markings to A-side only, NO damages except for a "cut" the area where the crack goes thru - watch the scan, please!" REGGAE - SKA - ROCK STEADY - ROCKSTEADY " Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being). THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE: EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...) P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
