Description

This is an absolute monster. It's the classic 1968 original UK LP from Free entitled 'Tons of Sobs' on the UK Island label. It's actually a second or third stereo pressing because it features the pink 'i' labels (catalogue no. ILPS 9089). The gatefold sleeve, to be honest, is not perfect. It shows definite wear along the edges and spine. However, the wording on the spine is quite legible and the overall feel of the cover is great. It gets a VG grading. The record, meanwhile, plays superbly on both sides with minimal surface noise and only the occasional pop or click. The labels are in great condition with some minor spindle marks. The record has been graded Ex-. This is one of the greatest blues psych LP's of all time and, quite frankly, you won't find better electric blues guitar playing anywhere than that of the sadly-missed Paul Kossoff. Paul Rodgers isn't a bad singer either. As with all my items, this is fully guaranteed - if you win the bid you will not be disappointed. Good luck and Happy New Year to all!
