Description
I have decided over the next few months to sell some of my own record collection. It is varied in its content from 60/70's Folk and Rock to Classical. Some records I have owned since new, others I have carefully selected and picked up along the way.
Whilst I have owned them, they have only ever been played on a Michell Orbe turntable, fitted with an SME V tonearm and Lyra Delos cartridge. This plays through a Tom Evans Groove phono stage, Sim Audio Moon amplification and Sonus Faber Cremona M speakers. Not only is this a revealing system, giving me an accurate assessment of all records played on it, but it has, I hope, looked after the vinyl.
I clean my records on an Okki Nokki RCM and very carefully store them in new sleeves, in a smoke free enviroment.
All records sold, will be cleaned again and play checked before dispatch.
I will grade using the Record Collector system, erring on the side of caution, happy to discuss details with any buyers.

Outer sleeve -
Front - No rubbing,ring wear or record shape at all. Corners are still in great condition. Top and bottom edges are showing minimal shelf wear. The overall colour is sharp with no sign of fading. There is a small crease to the top right corner only. The spine is intact, showing some signs of wear, but really great for one of these. There are a couple of what look like "pen" indentations, but these are not seen until the cover is tilted.
Rear - The colour is vibrant. Only 2 very short creases near the spine. Showing only a very slight amount of rubbing to maybe 2/3 of a record outline,thats all. Corners in great condition and only minimal shelf wear to edges.
Inner - Perfect. No marks or creases of any kind.
Overall, considering the age and the condition that most of these are in, this is a fine example and one I would grade as EX-.
Labels - Both are in EX+ condition, with only faint spindle traces keeping me from grading NM.
Vinyl visualy - Overall NM. I have not seen a better one. There is under normal light, only one short and faint surface line to Side A (which cannot be heard). Side B is incredible.
Vinyl play - On my system, the record sounds incredibly clear and vibrant, with a great soundstage and presence. The opening track "Over The Green Hills", a very quiet track, shows only a very minimal amount of surface noise, which continues right through the entire record. Only the quiet final track "Over The Green Hills Pt2" has any noticeable surface noise.
This record is in fantastic condition, for these are normally, in notoriously bad shape. I would grade it as EX
