Description

This is an auction for a copy of the Classic debut Lp by Free entitled "Tons of Sobs" released in the Uk on Island records catalogue number ILPS 9089. This is an early press on Pink Rim label with the Matrix number ILPS 9089 A3u and ILPS 9089 B3U.

The Vinyl looks in absolutely superb condition and  i am happy to grade it as visually  being in Near Mint condition if not better. It looks barely played and the plastic is still in the spindle holes. I have listened to the entire Lp at high volume and it sounds great as well. The music is very clear and vibrant with plenty of punch and plays through without any skips or jumps. There is the very occasional light background static noise/pop but i happy to grade the audio as Excellent++, if not better.

The labels are in Excellent+ condition and look superb with some light spindle marks visible.

The Gatefold cover is in Excellent++ condition. There is one very light crease to the top left corner but overall it looks in superb condition!

Overall a SUPERB copy of this classic LP

I use the Record Collector guide to grade my records-see below

The Lp will be sent in professional mailers and will be sent in the Uk at a cost of  £3.00. The cost of postage in Europe is £9.00 which includes international signed for delivery as mandatory . Please note that i combine shipping for multiple buys. Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but again this is due to problems experienced in the past. Anyone without feedback and who wants to bid please contact me first.

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
