ATTENTION international bidders! Please understand that altering the final price of any online purchase to avoid customs fees is illegal. I am an honest seller and cannot alter the amount, so please do not ask me to do so.
RECORD packaging and shipping method: I am a record collector who understands the importance of securely packing records. I always pad the package well to prevent shifting during transit. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records.
Here's a classic, voted on of the top albums in 1971 in its genre... FUNKADELIC's "Maggot Brain" on the Westbound label - 2007.
The vinyl: VG++ condition (read below)
Record is as the pictures show. I've cleaned the record on my VPI machine. There are little to no signs of play on this record, no marks to note... but there is a slight warp in the record, apparently due to storing flat. The warp is as shown below at the bottom of the series of pictures. If you're tonearm lift doesn't have much clearance, you may have to manually set the needle for play on side 1, side 2 lays flat and plays fine. The clip below is from the first 5 minutes or so of beginning of the first side. I did this to give an example of exactly how the warp barely affects the record's playback on my tt. There was a soft intermittent hiss at the outermost edge of the record, for the first 30 seconds or so, other than this, the record played excellent in my opinion.
Playback is as you'll hear in the clip below. No skips on either side on my tt, continuous playback throughout. The record looks exactly as the pictures on the left show... It sounds exactly as the mp3 file plays below.
The actual, unedited sound file below is provided by my Technics Direct Drive TT with a Ortofon OMP 3E cartridge set at 1.25g. I can't guarantee the record will sound exactly like the file below since all turntables are equipped differently.
Check out the sample below:
The labels are in VG++ to NM- condition
The many pictures here show the record accurately.
The cover is in at least VG+ condition
Cover looks great for its age. There is some light contact wear, some soiling on the inner left edge of the gatefold. Some very light foxing from age. Uni-pak cover here... it has kept the record free of marks. Inner sleeve is a Warner original. Right edge of pocket has a split in the print at middle seam, this is pictured.
I grade conservatively and take a lot of time to properly list my records so please bid with confidence. If you have any questions, please contact me through the 'ask seller a question' link on this page.

"Goldmine Standard" grading:
SS = Still Sealed
Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description.
NM- = Near Mint Minus
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever.
VG+ = Very Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
- Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
The majority of records (worth selling) fall under this grade.
- Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to.
- Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a
"VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.
G+ = Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have continuous crackles, pops, etc... but not so loud as to make the music completely unenjoyable for the casual listener.
- Cover: More than normal wear and tear.
