Description
This album is the first and only album that I have ever purchased based on the cover alone. I bought the album while stationed (US Army) in Frankfurt, Germany in 1970 and was purchased at a German record store. Out of curiosity, I played the record once and the record did not appeal to me whatsoever as my taste in music at the time was soul and Motown. Thus the record went back into the sleeve and remained there for fifty years until I removed the record to take photos for eBay.
About three years ago, I was reading an article on Cheap Trick in some music-oriented magazine and, at that time, discovered that Fuse was an early incarnation of Cheap Trick. The article reminded me that I had purchased the record while in Germany. At some point during the past summer, I decided to place the record with eBay. I became excited when I noticed that the album is a HOLLAND (NETHERLANDS) pressing.
This record could very well be the most desirable Fuse album currently out there. A once-played (Near Mint) copy of a HOLLAND 1ST PRESSING. Really hoping a Cheap Trick fan gets this record.
Most European record covers from that era were laminated as is this one. The back cover is a glued-on slick which shows no sign of coming apart.
