Fairfield Parlour From Home to Home Vinyl Vertigo Swirl (1970) 1Y//1 2Y//1.
Re-listed due to non payment
First pressing with textured cover and original vertigo inner sleeve
The vinyl is visually Fair; it has lots of surface lines/marks, and some stylus scratches
Side one plays fair to good. Generally there is crackle throughout, not too noticeable when music is strong. more prominent in quiet moments and between tracks. some clicks, mainly end of tracks three, five and six; not constant. track five skipped once
Side two mostly good starts crackly and clicks on and off through track one, but improves a bit towards end of track. again there is crackle and occasional clicks
So not the best, but not just a collection filler. The music hasn't deteriorated much at all; it's more mishandling than over playing. The issues are not overpowering overall but is prominent at start of each side, it can still be enjoyed if you're used to old vinyl. If you are at all unsure please don't bid
Sleeve is VG; has edge and spine wear, light surface foxing and mild creasing-please see photos
Original vertigo inner is also VG; some discolouration and creasing
Playback using audio technica deck with tonearm set at 1.5 and anti skate at 2.5. As mentioned there was one skip during playback. Depending on what equipment you are using I cannot guarantee it will not skip anywhere else. There is a feelable scratch on tr 5 side one, which is the reason for the skip
